Head Pastor

Johnna Camp has been pastor of First Christian Church for 15 years and came to Greenville with her family in 2010. Johnna has her M.Div. from Lexington Theological Seminary and a Masters of Positive Organization Development from Case Western Reserve. She and her husband, Bryant, are the proud parents of three grown children, an energetic puppy, and a grumpy cat. Their family loves the beach AND the mountains, so Greenville is a great place to live. Two of the things Johnna appreciates most about First Christian are the relationships built and connections shared, among the congregation and beyond. She loves the welcoming, hospitable, generous care both shown and lived by all members and attendees. Johnna believes FCC is a beautiful community in which to seek God, find a place to belong, make meaning, and contribute. 

Music Minister

Madeline Simon is an Atlanta native who originally came to Greenville in 2014 to study music education at Furman University. Since graduating, when she isn't singing or teaching, she enjoys acting in community theatre productions and trying new foods from different cultures–especially desserts! Madeline now lives in Wellford with her husband, Scott, and loves making music for the glory of God at FCC Greenville with our instrumental ensemble and our adult choir. Our singers meet (almost) every Monday from 4:00 to 5:30 to fellowship, rehearse, and pray together; the instrumentalists meet right after until 6:30. Everyone is welcome!
